The joy radiating from these photos is hard to miss, and the night spent celebrating the new Mr. and Mrs. will be one to remember.
The night of Reed and Harriett-Graham’s rehearsal dinner, Reed’s 95-year-old great uncle got up to close out the night of speeches. A hush fell over the room in total respect of the eldest family member there that night. Roy Kramer began to speak:
“…your granddaddy loved to dance better than anybody I ever knew. And your grandmother’s favorite song was by Andy Williams – Moon River. And she loved to dance with Frank to that song. In some way the words of that melody fit this weekend: ‘Moon river, wider than a mile. I’m crossing you in style some day. All the dreams you have I’m going along with you. Two strangers going out to see the world. Chasing their rainbow to rainbows end. ‘…and that’s what we celebrate tonight. For your crossing the river of marriage in style. Tomorrow you will join your lives together and chase that rainbow, not for tomorrow. You’ll chase that rainbow for the rest of your life and we are here tonight to help you chase that rainbow.”
