“Kristan and Josh were married on February 1, 2020, at The Venue at Southern Oaks Farm located in Gulfport, MS. The day began early with Kristan and her bridal party getting ready in the Bridal Cottage at The Venue at Southern Oaks Farm. Just before slipping into her dress, Kristan had a private, emotional moment alone to open a gift from Josh. Kristan’s mom helped her into her dress, then surprised her girls with a first look afterward. Moments later, Kristan shared a first look with her dad on the front porch of the cottage. Josh, meanwhile, relaxed with his groomsmen back at the groom’s suite. During the ceremony, the couple exchanged vows and participated in communion together. During the reception, it was her dad that got the first dance before handing off his daughter one last time to her newlywed husband. This wedding was very family-oriented and a large amount of planning went into the details and ceremony of daddy giving his little girl away to her soul mate.”
