“The styled shoot was located at the Virginia House in Richmond, VA. It was the first styled shoot I attended in my photography career, and I was very nervous about what to expect! The day was a typical East Coast fall day, cloudy, and rainy. I was unsure how the shoot was going to proceed in the rain, but the host of the shoot was very well organized and had planned for the rain. They presented the tablescapes under a part of the building with a roof cover, but still outside. It made for some beautiful moody photos, and the venue was the perfect spot for a rainy day. We did get lucky though and were able to take portraits in the back garden before the rain came. The florals were my favorite part about this styled shoot. The florist got very creative and created an S shape, longer bouquet, that could be held either horizontally or vertically. Let the pictures speak for themselves!”
