“Caroline and Matthew had an intimate proposal and got engaged during a mountain trip on the front porch of the house they were staying at. It was just Caroline and Matthew when he got down on one knee. Caroline says she was very surprised! Matthew had help from his sister picking out the beautiful ring he gave to Caroline.
Historic Yates Mill is a fully restored, circa 1756 gristmill and is the last operable gristmill in Wake County.”
