“A bright color palette was chosen because I wanted something that would really pop on the fireplace and catch people’s eye. I immediately envisioned greenery and flowers creating almost an arch over the fireplace. I find when I go with the first vision that comes to my mind, that is usually the one that works best.
I wanted a very natural design, but also some shape to it and that would also make the bride stand out with that Cinderella ballgown. When putting the florals on the fireplace, I wanted them in random clusters so it would look natural and would create an image as if it had been there all along. The inside was matched with a beautiful bar set up and a gorgeous chandelier. We were going for the glamour shots inside especially emphasizing the bar. It stood out to me with that dark brown wood, I knew we had to use it for something.”
