“At the end of July, several local vendors from the greater Jackson, Tennessee area participated in a styled shoot at The Caldwell Inn & Chapel. The intent of this shoot was to showcase the classic beauty of this new venue, as it is being introduced in our community. We really wanted to show the simple, timeless beauty of the venue and all of its attractions in this shoot by keeping true to a clean, romantic and bright color palette.
The inspiration for this styled shoot was drawn from the interior and exterior design of the old home, playing on the white, French blue, and wooden accents throughout the Inn. We envisioned something timeless, bright, and romantic to display just how classic and beautiful the property truly is, whether in the house or in the Chapel. This styled shoot came together as a means for future brides, grooms and their families to welcome The Caldwell Inn & Chapel to the West Tennessee area. It is a one-of-a-kind venue with its inviting space, clean style and of course, the trolley! The Caldwell Inn is a beautiful antebellum home that was built in the late 1800s for Dr. Caldwell and his family. This large, all-white home is nestled on the corner of Main Street in the heart of downtown Milan, a quiet little town in West Tennessee. In 2017, Charles and Diana Taylor purchased the Caldwell house and surrounding properties with the vision of creating a wedding and event venue where guests can slow down, relax, and enjoy time together. After two long years of restoration and renovation, The Caldwell Inn has been beautifully restored and is ready to host brides, grooms, and their families as they celebrate such an important season.
The Inn is now a stately southern mansion boasting five beautifully appointed king bedrooms, inviting living areas, gardens, an outdoor chapel, and even a trolley named ‘Walt’ to transport bridal parties. The soft French blue and white color palette and vintage décor throughout the Inn will make brides and their attendants want to unpack and stay forever!”
