A Backyard Wedding on the Potomac River

Nothing makes my heart happier than a backyard wedding. Especially one on the water! You’ll absolutely adore the blue color palette, classic details, and stunning ceremony.

From Jessica Lapp Photography

“Jeremy and Mary Beth were married the Bride’s home with a gorgeous view of the Potomac River! Jeremy is the kind of guy who does daring adventurous things; he spent a year on a motorcycle trip from the US to South America and climbs mountains as a hobby. Mary Beth is on the U.S. Women’s Field Hockey team! These two are strong and driven but more importantly, they are in love with each other and deeply committed to their marriage.

The wedding was in the backyard of Mary Beth’s parent’s home with a view of the Potomac River right in the backyard! Guests enjoyed the sunset during the reception (and of course we shot some photos on the river as the sun went down!)

The girls got ready at General’s Ridge Vineyard. Mary Beth’s simple details were so classy, and the blue bridesmaid dresses were so perfect for the aesthetic!”
